Course dates
8-week A (Online only)
The 8-week A course will run from 11 July to 2 September 2022 as a fully online course which you can study from your home country.
The 8-week A course will include live online classes and class tasks, plus online seminars and tutorials between 09:00 and 14:00 UK time (British Summertime) with additional hours of guided practice and self-study.
The deadline to apply for this course is 24 June 2022.
8-week B (On campus)
The 8-week B course will run from 18 July to 9 September 2022 on campus in Cardiff.
The course will include live classes on the University campus, as well as online self-study.
The deadline to apply for this course is 17 June 2022.
Cost
The course fee for 2022 entry is £3,160.
Entry requirements
IELTS (Academic)
The 8-week courses are for students with IELTS (Academic) 6.0 overall who have a score of 5.5 in Writing (and all other sub-scores at 5.0 or higher) and have a course entry requirement of IELTS 6.5 overall.
Pearson Test of English Academic
Applicants who have Pearson Test of English Academic must have a minimum score of 60 overall with 59 in Writing and 51 in all other sub-scores.
10-week Online course
The 10-week Online course will run from 27 June to 2 September 2022 as a fully online course which you can study from your home country.
The 10-week Online course will include live online classes and class tasks, plus seminars and tutorials between 09:00 and 14:00 UK time (British Summertime) with additional hours of guided practice and self-study.
The deadline to apply for this course is 10 June 2022.
10-week On-campus course
The 10-week On-campus course will run from 4 July to 9 September 2022 on campus in Cardiff.
The course will include live classes on the University campus, as well as online self-study.
The deadline to apply for this course is 3 June 2022.

The course fee for 2022 entry is £3,950.
Entry requirements
IELTS (Academic)
The 10-week course is for students with IELTS (Academic) 6.5 overall (with 6.0 in Writing and all other sub-scores at 5.5 or higher) and who have a course entry requirement of IELTS 7.0 overall.
Pearson Test of English Academic
Applicants who have Pearson Test of English Academic must have a minimum score of 62 overall with 62 in Writing and at least 59 in all other sub-scores.
12-week Online course
The 12-week Online course will run from 13 June to 2 September 2022 as a fully online course which you can study from your home country.
The 12-week Online course will include live online classes and class tasks, plus seminars and tutorials between 09:00 and 14:00 UK time (British Summertime) with additional hours of guided practice and self-study.

12-week On-campus course
The 12-week On-campus course will run from 27 June to 16 September 2022 on campus in Cardiff.
